Life’s mental load takes a toll on us.

Between working, caretaking, and maintaining our own health and well-being, modern life wears us out. Bearing the mental load necessary to make life happen for our families comes at great cost:

    • To our health and the health of our relationships. We’re stressed, tired, and scrambling to keep up. We may even resent that our families don’t see, appreciate, or help with this burden.

    • To our goals. We can’t focus on our careers, our passion projects, or even self-care if we are weighed down by invisible labor. We are overwhelmed. We don’t know where to start, and if we do get started, we may quickly get bogged down with decision fatigue.

    • To our society and our world: The mental load is often divided unequally along gender lines. Often women are spending their precious time tackling their “must dos,” never having time to pursue joy or find fulfillment. The world needs our gifts and talents more than ever!

It’s hard to carve out space, time, and bandwidth to set goals or start projects - not to mention finish them. That’s where I come in.
